Mystery alert keeps starting one of my jobs

 Hi, I have window form to let user fill data, I want to alert user if close web browser before saved web form data, could anyone provide any clue?

Hello all,

I would like to select an element that is in the same TR as another element I found with a selector.

The selector itself: $("input[name='sMessageValue']","#messageTable")

Now I have this element and got its value I would like to find a checkbox located in the same TR, i tried this as starting point : $(this).(':parent').val(). But seems not the right thing to do.

I was working on MOSS 2007 OOTB search no customisation.

Customisation of look and feel using XSLT.

My issue is i need to show only top 5o records on searchresults page each page should contain 10 items, i configured according to that in search core results webpart properties, but if i go to 5th page it is showing "next page" symbol if i click on it shows an error message:

"Search is currently configured not to return more than 50 results for any query. You asked for results starting from 51"

I shouldnt show next symbol @ 5th page ...how can i overcome this issue.

I have Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 SP2 installed.  I have setup a workflow for a list library.  It is supposed to automatically send an email when a new item is added to the list.  Occasionally it wont run the workflow.  At this point, this happens for two users on our domain.  All non administrators have add/view only permissions to the list.  I have the column for the workflow on the layout and when it does not activate the workflow the column item is empty.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

 

I created a custom timer job. I deployed it and tried it in my dev farm and everything runs fine. However,  the job doesn't do anything in the QA farm. I say this because in Central Admin, the status of the job is succeeded, but I have no entries in the logs and the list that this job is supposed to fill is empty. I thought it was something with that specific job. So, I created a new one that only has an assert to false so it displays a pop up as soon as it runs. Guess what? The job says initialized ans its completeness is set to 0%. No pop up shown.  

 

For soem reason this Farm is not running custom timer jobs. This is in MOSS 2007

I am looking at a way of alerting users to an "issue" that has been raised and assigned to someone. The ideal way would be something similar to what I have pictured below.

Where a user would enter a name into the Interested Party field where that would do an AD lookup using a name with presence field, once added an email would fire off and alert the user each time an issue is raised / changed within the "issue"

I would like  to diable SA accounts on all the servers at our organization. But there could be jobs,services etc running with this account and I need a way to keep all this running but disable SA account so that no body can login to the server with SA account.

Below are the permissions available. I am little confused. Could some one please confirm what I need to select to achieve what I want above.

Do I need to select both deny and disable.

Select Grant to grant CONNECT SQL permission to the login. Select Deny to deny CONNECT SQL to the login.

A login that has been disabled continues to exist as a record. But if it tries to connect to SQL Server, the login will not be authenticated.

Under HyperV - turning off host with guests running, they are saved with no dataloss. However on restarting the HOST, SQL agent jobs(inside guests) are struck with their past readings as seen in JobActivity Monitor and none of the jobs are running automatically unless you; (a) delete and recreate the schedule. (b) manually run the jobs at once. (c) restart the agent service. [So] Is there some thing available for a fix on this. (tested on SQL 9 SP3 & 10)

I've generated the script of job from 2005, but when I ran this script on 2008, I am getting this:

it should be “c:\master.mdf”
Seems to be the same problem. How to change that path to the correct one? thanks
