SharePoint - WIKI --- Allow Management of Content Types

Can anyone please tell me if the is a method for a Site Admin to "Allow management of Content Types" on a wiki like you would do with a Document Library or a list?

I've built this enormous content type structure only to discover that I cannot use it on the wiki like i would with a document library.  I have a massive Wiki and i'm feeling a bit silly to have only discovered this now --- is there ANYTHING that I can do, to introduce my content types that i've created to the wiki?

Thank you

Edit Details in Sharepoint 2007 My Site Page

Our Company is currently using Sharepoint 2007 as our intranet.  We want users to start using it for more collaboration and search funtionality.  One function we would want to give each user is the ability to modify their extension number.  However, users cannot edit  the "Work Phone" field in the My Site.  Is there a way to be able to modify this field?

Using SharePoint to show example solutions

I am a freelance Technical Writer.
As a SharePoint power user, I have been able to provide useful designs and solutions with SharePoint server for a couple of companies I worked for, without sophisticated programming.  I would like to have a SharePoint web page where I can show people some solution examples from my experience for users to learn from, and also to encourage people to use SharePoint for collaboration and document management. The idea is that visitors to the page will only have limited (reader) access to see how the results work, but will not be able to construct anything themselves.

Now my questions are:

Am I allowed to have a SharePoint web site on the internet to let readers see practical solution examples to learn from, for free?

Can I make my own home pc as a web server with SharePoint and let subscribed (free) members and visitors see my examples and add comments and questions (forum)?

As I am not using this for gaining money, so I would rather not pay for this web site.

in which document owner upload documents and select perticular users for reviewing,

Sharepoint 2007 user group permission issue

Hi all,

In Sharepoint 2007 site, i am having lot many users in different sharepoint user groups.

The problem is that, when the user of site Owner's group(Full control) trying access the site, he get the permission error.

After that when i added the same user in the same group again(re-adding the user in Owner's group),

Then its working. But this kind of issue I am facing with lot many sites and sub-sites.

Can any one suggest, why the user not able to access the site even if they belongs to owner's group(Full control).

Why this issue comes.

Thanks in advance,

Rahul gupta

Best Practices for developing accessible web sites in SharePoint 2007

I'm currently busy with an overview of Best Practices for developing accessible web sites in SharePoint 2007. After a little research I have noticed that the challenges I have faced so far are mostly XHTML/CSS/JS related and there are actually very few SharePoint 2007 specific issues: this has to do with the fact that we use very little to none of standard SharePoint controls in the Internet facing web sites we deliver.

As I would like to share the Best Practices I'm writing with the community I've been wondering whether you have tried to develop an accessible web site in SharePoint 2007 yourself and faced any challenges you would like to share. To make myself clear I'm looking for issues and challenges and not solutions in particular (these are welcome as well by the way).
